chmod +x Ink-0.1.0-x86_64.AppImageOr: right-click → Properties → allow executing as a program.
./Ink-0.1.0-x86_64.AppImageThen pick ~/Notes or any folder, including an Obsidian vault.
When run from an AppImage, Ink adds a launcher entry and icons under ~/.local/share so your dock can find it. Delete those files to remove them. If it complains about FUSE on a recent distribution, install FUSE 2 (libfuse2), or run it with --appimage-extract-and-run.

On first launch you either use ~/Notes or choose a folder (an existing Obsidian vault works). Ink reads and writes Markdown files there and keeps its own search index, trash and templates in a hidden .notes folder inside it. Nothing is sent anywhere. Read the docs.
